For one weekend only - October 26th and 27th - Sydneysiders can book a visit to Ovata House for an afternoon of sparkling wine, a live DJ, delectable bites, and poolside vibes. Ovata House will be hosted at Darling Point's Gatsby House – a multi-million dollar manor exuding 1920s Hollywood glam in one of the city’s most enviable postcodes.

Nose

The palate has a fine creamy texture and focussed drive with a slightly savoury textural finish. The vibrant freshness of the chardonnay, the dominant variety in this blend, is complemented by the depth and intensity of the reserve selections to create an elegant and stylish wine.

Select parcels of chardonnay and pinot noir are blended and bottle fermented for an average of 18 months on lees, with selected reserve parcels incorporated into the blend adding an extra layer of complexity to this sophisticated sparkling wine.

Leveraging their intimate knowledge of the Yarra Valley, the team at Oakridge have hand selected premium parcels of the classic sparkling varietals, chardonnay and pinot noir, in which Teresa has then crafted a preeminent sparkling wine.

Specialising in both crafting premium white & sparkling wine, Teresa has experience in all aspects of sparkling wine production, with extensive experience across premier sparkling wine regions, including the Adelaide Hills, King Valley, Tasmania and now, the Yarra Valley.
